One of the favorite foods for parrots in the farm is Chinaberry tree. The fruits of this neem lookalike tree are pretty toxic for us but the birds just love it. In some parts of the Himalayas where Neem wouldn’t grow, this is used as a replacement for preparation of organic pesticides. The young trees are glowing with flowers right now and what a sight it is. From the older ones, we’ve collected some seeds to plant more of them in the coming monsoon.
